by Roald Dahl

{250 pages}

Matilda is one of Roald Dahl's best books, since 1996 the book has been made into a movie and a musical.

Matilda stars a smart knowledgeable girl who is told to watch more TV and not to read or do maths equations. With an unsuportive family and a mean principle will her nice teacher be able to help?

I would like to introduce you to the rest of the characters: Michael(Matilda's brother), Mr & Mrs Wormwood(the worst parents you could ever have), Miss Honey(one of the nicest teachers in the world) and *gulp* Mrs Trunchbull(The worst and I mean it when I say the worst principle ever)!

This book really covers all emotions and personalities. It really is a great book for learning that life isn't perfect and people aren't always respected for doing nice and good things.I recommend this book for any age as it has humour for anyone. I give this book a 9 and a 1/2 out of 10.
